Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy sets out the conditions under which physical products ordered through the Cardonaut mobile application (iOS/Android), published by CARDONAUT SAS, are dispatched and delivered.

It supplements and forms an integral part of the Terms and Conditions of Sale (the "T&Cs"). For returns and refunds, please refer to the Refund Policy.


1. Shipping zones

Cardonaut ships its products exclusively within the following European Union countries:

  • Metropolitan France
  • Belgium
  • Luxembourg

Note: no delivery is currently offered outside this zone (in-app content is provided in French only).

Delivery to the French Overseas Territories (DOM-TOM) is not available at this time. If you wish to receive an order outside the covered zone, please contact us at [email protected] — requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.


2. Delivery methods

Three delivery methods are offered depending on the destination country and your cart. All carrier shipments are operated by Mondial Relay, and a tracking number is sent by email as soon as the parcel is handed over to the carrier.

2.1 Pickup Point (Mondial Relay)

  • Available in: France, Belgium, Luxembourg
  • Indicative transit time: 3 to 5 business days (FR) — 3 to 6 business days (BE, LU), excluding preparation
  • Parcels held for 14 days at the pickup point after the availability notification
  • Real-time tracking via the Mondial Relay parcel number

2.2 Home delivery (Mondial Relay)

  • Available in: France, Belgium, Luxembourg
  • Indicative transit time: 3 to 5 business days, excluding preparation
  • Handed over against signature or left in the mailbox depending on parcel size
  • Real-time tracking via the Mondial Relay parcel number

2.3 In-store pickup

  • Available in: France only (physical store: 61 avenue de Toulouse, 31750 Escalquens)
  • Preparation time: 1 to 3 business days after payment confirmation
  • Free of charge
  • You receive an email as soon as the order is ready for collection

3. Rates

Shipping fees are calculated automatically at cart checkout in the app, based on the selected method and the delivery country. The rates below apply to any order placed on or after May 20, 2026 and are expressed including VAT, in euros, with French VAT at 20%.

Mondial Relay home delivery is not eligible for any free shipping threshold: the fee applies regardless of cart value.

3.2 Rate changes

Shipping rates and free shipping thresholds may be adjusted in line with carrier conditions or commercial campaigns. The rate grid in force at the time you place your order applies definitively to that order (a snapshot is taken at the time of payment).

3.3 VAT

Prices displayed in the app and the shipping fees are stated including French VAT at 20% for deliveries to France, Belgium and Luxembourg.


4. Delivery times

4.1 Preparation time

Cardonaut prepares your order within a standard timeframe of 2 business days from payment confirmation.

During peak periods (new TCG set releases, Black Friday, end-of-year holidays), this timeframe may extend up to 5 business days. An email notification is systematically sent as soon as the order is dispatched.

4.2 Transit time

The transit times indicated in § 2 (3 to 5 business days FR; 3 to 6 business days BE/LU for Pickup Point) cover the Mondial Relay carrier phase. They are indicative and may vary depending on the destination and exceptional circumstances (weather, local public holidays, strikes).

4.3 Maximum overall delivery time

In accordance with Article L.216-1 of the French Consumer Code (transposing Directive 2011/83/EU), and unless otherwise specified at the time of order, delivery will take place no later than 30 days after order confirmation.

4.4 Remedies in case of delay

If the announced delivery time is exceeded, and in accordance with Article L.216-2 of the French Consumer Code, you may:

  1. Send a formal notice to Cardonaut by email at [email protected] requesting delivery within a reasonable additional period;
  2. If delivery does not take place within that additional period, terminate the contract by registered letter or any other written durable medium (email);
  3. A full refund (including shipping fees) will then be issued within 14 days of such termination (Art. L.216-3 of the Consumer Code).

5. Order tracking

As soon as your order is dispatched, you will receive an automatic email containing:

  • Your Mondial Relay tracking number
  • The tracking link to follow your parcel in real time
  • The pickup point address, where applicable
  • The estimated availability date

You can also view the tracking status of all your orders directly in the Cardonaut app, under "My orders".


6. Transfer of risk

In accordance with Article L.216-4 of the French Consumer Code, the risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to you at the moment you (or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier) take physical possession of the parcel.

In practice:

  • Home delivery: risk transfers upon actual handover of the parcel;
  • Pickup point: risk transfers upon actual collection at the pickup point (not at the moment the carrier drops it off);
  • In-store pickup: risk transfers upon collection by you.

Until risk has effectively passed, Cardonaut bears full responsibility for the goods in the event of loss, theft or damage during transport.


7. Lost, damaged or undelivered parcels

7.1 Parcel not scanned by Mondial Relay

If your tracking number shows no movement for 7 consecutive business days after the initial handover, please contact us at [email protected]. Cardonaut will open an investigation with Mondial Relay within 2 business days.

7.2 Investigation timeline and resolution

Mondial Relay has 21 business days to conclude the investigation. If the parcel is not located by the end of that period, Cardonaut undertakes to offer you, automatically and no later than 30 business days from the opening of the investigation:

  • Reshipment of an identical parcel (subject to availability), or
  • Full refund of the order (product + original shipping fees).

The choice is yours.

7.3 Damaged or tampered parcel on receipt

If, upon receipt, you observe that the parcel is damaged, opened or shows signs of tampering:

  1. Refuse the parcel from the carrier or issue precise written reservations on the delivery slip;
  2. Photograph the outer packaging before opening, where possible;
  3. Contact Cardonaut within 48 hours at [email protected] with photos and the order number.

Cardonaut will handle the case (reshipment, refund, expert assessment) on a case-by-case basis. Return shipping costs for expert assessment are borne by Cardonaut.


8. Incorrect delivery address or uncollected parcel

8.1 Incorrect or incomplete address

If the parcel is returned to Cardonaut due to an error in the delivery address provided at the time of order (misspelled street, missing number, missing access code, etc.), a reshipment fee of €6.90 incl. VAT will be charged to relaunch the delivery to the corrected address.

8.2 Parcel not collected at the pickup point

If you do not collect your parcel at the pickup point within the 14-day window granted by Mondial Relay, it is automatically returned to Cardonaut. In that case:

  • Reshipment: €6.90 incl. VAT at your expense;
  • Cancellation and refund: you may request a refund of the order, less the original shipping fees (the shipment having already been carried out).

To avoid this situation, please monitor your availability notifications carefully.


9. Packaging

Cardonaut pays particular attention to the packaging of TCG products, which are by nature fragile (bendable cards, creasable sleeves, sealed boosters requiring protection).

All parcels are sealed with Cardonaut anti-tamper adhesive tape.

9.2 Eco-responsibility policy

In accordance with the French AGEC Act of February 10, 2020, Cardonaut limits its packaging to the strict minimum and uses recyclable materials (FSC-certified cardboard, kraft paper void fill). Cardonaut is in the process of registering with the CITEO eco-organisation for the household packaging stream.


10. Shipping fees in the event of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L.221-21-1 of the French Consumer Code (transposing Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights), you have a withdrawal period of 14 days from receipt of your order (see Refund Policy § 1). Cardonaut will refund the standard shipping fees you paid.

However:

  • If you chose a more expensive delivery method than the standard one offered (e.g. home delivery instead of pickup point), only the cost of the standard method will be refunded;
  • Return shipping costs to send the goods back to Cardonaut are borne by you, except in the event of a defective product, non-conformity, or a Cardonaut error (see Refund Policy § 1.4).
